Visiting distant locations, meeting interesting people that are different, getting to absorb culture and eat exotic food are just some of the reasons I do it. Couple that with my passion for writing and my inability to settle down in one place for long periods of time, and you get a blog that chronicles my journey across the globe.

I haven’t regretted my choice once, but there are some things I would like to make better. Since traveling can get be pretty exhausting and time-consuming, there is very little time left for me workout, which is something that I try to do. Keeping in shape is imperative if I want to travel constantly, so I try to incorporate that into my traveling.

For example, I try and visit the gyms all around the world. I’ve been to a kickboxing gym while I was in Thailand. The experience was unforgettable, and the training is very brutal, basic, yet extremely effective and intense. If I happen to be somewhere in the mountains, I will spend quite a lot of time skiing or snowboarding. There are your obvious activities, like swimming, if you happen to be at a seaside. But problems arise when I’m in a more urban environment. However it appears that I might have found an answer to that, as well.

I was in Chicago, and in my time off, I visited the hotel gym. It was very well equipped, and I tried out one of the elliptical trainers they had there. Seeing as I’ve never actually worked out using one, I was a bit apprehensive, but by the end of the workout I was completely sold. I liked it so much that I’ve decided to get one for myself. A combination of strenuous activities and smart use of hotel gyms seems to work for me - and it keeps things interesting.
